I ran into quite a few friends, fellow actors, directors, filmmakers, and more at ATL's GET CONNECTED this past week. I caught a couple of the films that were screening as well, lots of great energy and always fun to meet new people in the area.
I had such a blast in Ben Taylor's Atlanta Scene Study Class, fun and inspiring, packed full of priceless biz tips that even the most seasoned actor can learn from. Can't wait for week three!
Had a great time the other night meeting the cast and crew for my feature PIMP for the first time, which shoots in June. I play Tony Quayle, a dirty cop. Above I am chatting with fellow actor Nick Lewis. Thanks again Richard Tavernero and Robert Kelly.
What an incredible day full of so many wonderful people, thanks to the the cast and crew of Being Mary Jane, especially the lovely Gabrielle Union for making it so easy to work across from and a big big thanks to director Salim Akil and his wife and series writer Mara Akil for having me on board. On our last take the director let Gabrielle and I improv our scene about 2 mins or more which was such a thrill, will keep my fingers crossed that it will end up in the final cut!
I got a peek at my short, "Way of the Coward" today and I am really excited for this film. Congrats to Luis Ayala for all his hard work, time and commitment! Of course still waiting for my name to appear on the IMDB page, lol, some things never change, thanks IMDB a whole lot.

As Mary Jane juggles her life, her work and her commitment to her family, we find out how far she’s willing to go to find the puzzle pieces that she, and society, insist are missing from her life as a single Black female.
I you can stand a little rambling, cursing and off topic moments....you'll like this guy and love his review as I did.
