Jason Vail is an American actor who has garnered many roles in film and television over his twenty years plus career. All due in part to his diverse range of character playing. He has portrayed historical figures such as John Wilkes Booth (Film) and John Barrymore (Stage.) He has also played a wide range of lead and supporting roles on TV and film such as cops, police detectives, military types, FBI agents, lawyers, oil CEO, a D.A., bartender, hit man, business man, reporter, doctors, sports agent, hostile redneck, psychotic killers, vampires, flawed everyman types. You name it, he's probably played it. He is often cast in roles that have a dual personality to them. Example, the good guy that later turns out to be the bad guy or vice versa. Though he admits bad guy roles are truly his favorite characters to play.
Jason's acting career began in the early 1990's and since then he has amassed over 60 films and over three dozen television appearances in nearly every genre in film and television. He most recently acted in features; "An Actor Prepares", "Acrimony", "Boo, A Madea Halloween", "Tammy" also, "Million Dollar Arm", and on TV; Nat Geo's - "Killing Reagan", History Channel's "Six", OWN'S The Have and Have Nots, Sony's "Powers", "Being Mary Jane" on B.E.T. as well as FOX's "Sleepy Hollow", CW's "The Originals" AMC's "Halt and Catch Fire", "Drop Dead Diva", Investigation Discover's "Your Worst Nightmare."
